There’s no place like home ⛪️

Our family had a great "recharge" time.

 

As of this past Sunday, the Bonenbergers are officially back! Since many of you might be wondering - here's the "jist" of what we did.

 

We spent 3 weeks in Cape Coral FL and a few days in Orlando. A relative of my wife offered us a beautiful home (with a pool!) to stay at free of charge. We went on some kind of outing/adventure just about every other day. The "in-between" days were swim/chill days. We also visited some great churches out there where we learned and had our souls poured into. We ended the FL trip with a grand finale of 2 days at Walt Disney World Resort - visiting Animal Kingdom and Epcot Resort. After that, we spent about 5 days down in San Diego with family. And the last few days... we cleaned out three closets and our garage! It was a project hadn't had time to get to.

 

Thank you for being a church that values the emotional health of your pastors. We felt your love and prayers daily. It was great to be away but as the old saying goes, there's no place like home.

 

We are glad to be back at our own home and more importantly, our home church. We are both really looking forward to being "back in the saddle" this upcoming Sunday. Believe it or not I'm actually kinda nervous to preach. Hopefully I remember how to do it!
