Good Friday at City Church 2023
Luke 23:46 says "Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, 'Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.' And having said this he breathed his last." It was at this moment that Jesus died after a level of pain and suffering we can hardly imagine. On the surface, Christ's innocent death hardly looks like something that should be called "good." And yet the Christian Church has called it "Good Friday" because it was also the day that our sins were forgiven. Without Jesus having his body broken and his blood spilled on the Cross, every human being would still be living under the Old Covenant. Because of what the Lord did on that heinous day, we call it "good" and we can even celebrate it.
Join us this April 7th 2023 at 7:07pm for a special Good Friday service.
We will have a special time of worship, hear a message focused on what Jesus did that fateful day, and take communion as a tangible act of remembrance. We hope you will join us.
* CITY KIDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR AGES 1-12.
* We will NOT be live streaming this event.
* Parking will be tight so please park at the Anaheim Central Library across the street if you are physically able.
