What's MY story?

What's my story? I am just a regular girl who wants to change the world. Is
that too bold a statement? Let me be a little more blunt-I am a girl who
will change the world.

At City Church this past Sunday, April 25th, Mark Mohr gave a insightful
message in the LIFECHANGE series about being bold. Mark said that true
boldness does not come from our own selves. Rather, we are bold because we
are God's story read by all.

"I am bold because I rely on Christ."That statement hit me hard because all
along I never really gave great thought into why I have such a lofty goal
for myself. It is now that I realize my own truth: It is because I believe
in Christ and hold tight to the truth that Christ is with me always. That
perception, alone, allows me to be so bold.

As people who abide in Christ, it seems our whole lives are based around
being bold. I believe that we are almost required to be bold in our beliefs,
in our actions, and in our lives. We live in the belief that God lives
inside us, never forsaking us. And with Him, the seemingly impossible is possible.

Mark Mohr said, "I am bold because I am the light of the world."I believe
that this statement is true. As people who rely on Christ, we exude the hope
of Christ for others to see.

What's my story? I am a girl who believes in the hope, the love, and the
life of Christ. And because of that, I will be bold enough to change the
world.

India,

I seriously think this is an amazing blog. I absolutely am proud of you for taking the time not only to write it; but I thank you for being vulnerable enough to declare your boldness. That took guts. I'm so freaking proud of you.

Cesar, sorry, I just now got around to approving your post. It somehow stopped emailing me when people post so I have to dig into the blogs and do it manually. Thanks for the comment though!
