Today, Orange County/LA residents were awakened with a nice 4.4 "jolt." Did you feel it? I did.
It definitely gave my nerves a rise and made it tough to get back to sleep. To top it off, I normally do not really notice the time change weekend, but this time it has really taken a toll on me! I have been abnormally wiped out. So when the earthquake deprived me of even MORE sleep. I was a bit miffed about it.
Then... I remembered something Tim Hill (the owner of Chain Reaction) tweeted on Sunday.
Every Sunday, we ask a Twitter "question of the week." Last Sunday's question was:
"What was the hardest part about losing an hour of sleep for you?" Tim Hill's answer has been ringing in my head. He tweeted this:

Tim, RIGHT ON.
When I adjusted my attitude, here's the perspective I got.
On Monday night, I was able to see why Daylight Savings is so great. Sunlight at 7pm is awesome!! This morning, the earthquake woke me up and I lost some sleep. BIG DEAL.
EVERYONE is ok! Nobody was hurt! Haitians & Chileans are still living in desperate circumstances because of devastating quakes they experienced.
Is it annoying to lose an hour of sleep? Yes.
Is it annoying to be woken up by an earthquake? Yes.
But c'mon... let's all agre to ADJUST OUR ATTITUDES. We have so much to be thankful for.
Thanks for the reminder Tim.
Here's a link to the video we showed Sunday too. It's a good reminder.
