DNA - Part 1 - NO NEEDS

Imagine a world where nobody needed ANYTHING.  A world where your neighbor's needs were as important to you as your own.  Imagine a world where financial, spiritual, and emotional needs weren't just known, in this world, they are met.  In Acts 4, this is EXACTLY what Jesus' disciples say the church's job is.  Here's what it says...

Acts 4:34-35 says "there was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the Apostles' feet, and it was distributed as any had need."

When I look around, I see SO many needs.  There are SO many people out there DYING for a drop of cold water.  SO many people live with gripping sexual addictions, gambling addictions, stealing addictions, lack of resources.  You name it.  There's a need for it. 

Sunday we are kicking off our first part in our series "DNA" where we're going to look at what it means to meet one another's needs in a healthy, God-ordained way.
