ABOUT CITY CHURCH

City Church is a young, vibrant church in North Anaheim/Orange county devoted to giving back to the community.  Giving back is our mantra for living; and we believe giving back to the church, people, and our communities is the only way to experience an abundant life.  Our goal is to live out Genesis 12:2 that says we are "blessed to BE a blessing."  

Our website is LOVEHOPECITY.COM because we believe God's radical LOVE needs to be shared in tangible ways with those around us.  We also believe the HOPE for eternal life for everyone who believes is why we do what we do.  Everyone needs to know that somebody loves them; and everyone needs hope.  Our goal is to BE the LOVE & HOPE of Jesus in our CITY.

OUR HISTORY 

City Church started in 2009 with a small group of leaders meeting in Kyle & Lisa's one bedroom apartment who shared a heart to see God do something radical in their cities.  Since Small Groups are such a huge part of Kyle & Lisa's heart, it made perfect sense to begin the journey to becoming a church through a small group.  

City Church's story is just beginning.  We are waiting for YOU to write the next page.  At City Church, YOU will be celebrated; and your journey with us will be a public part of our journey.  

We launched services at Chain Reaction Sunday September 13th; and we've been slowly... steadily growing.  We pray that YOU find a home right here with us at City Church.

OUR BELIEFS 

At City Church, we believe that God's LOVE for humanity is deeper than we can fathom.  We believe in the HOPE of eternal life for all those who profess belief in Jesus Christ.  We also believe that God wants more than lip service.  We believe God wants to see people transformed from the inside out.  We believe that the Bible is relevant and that it pierces the deepest parts of our being.

We believe that God's tomorrow for you is brighter than your yesterday.  We believe there is an incredible plan lined up just for you to live with purpose on this earth, and to have peace eternally.

MEET KYLE

This is Kyle.  Kyle grew up in Paris, France before moving to California at the age of thirteen.  It was at that point that Kyle made the decision to follow Jesus for the rest of his life at a "sweaty junior high" youth rally.  Though Kyle committed his life to Jesus then, it wasn't until the age of 15 that he felt an unmistakable call to be in ministry as his life's purpose.

Kyle is a graduate of BIOLA University with a B.A. in Biblical & Religious Studies; and he is currently working late nights to finish his M. Div. degree from Talbot School of Theology.  Kyle's passion is Jesus, his wife Lisa (who he calls his better 3/4th's), his family, and people.  

Random, stupid thing nobody knows about Kyle... he loves to watch "What Not To Wear" & HGTV TV shows.
