2Chairs4Change ~ MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Dear City Church Friends,

I have some incredible NEWS about the 2Chairs4Change Campaign!

Our vision is to be a church that GIVES BACK.  Another church decided they would GIVE BACK to us in a huge, tangible way.  Here's the INCREDIBLE NEWS…

By the grace of God, a church in Mission Viejo heard of our pressing need for chairs. Crossline Community Church donated 200 black folding chairs to us 100% FREE!!!

This is truly an incredible act of God's grace on our behalf.  When you have a need, God will always supply it.  I knew God was going to provide, but this time He really blew me away.

So… where does that leave all of us who have donated towards the campaign?  That is a great question.  One thing that is very important to me is to be as honest and transparent as possible about the financial aspects of City Church.

We have raised $980 towards the chairs.  When we were renting chairs, we spent roughly $400 on rentals.  That leaves just under $600 of unused funds designated towards the chairs.  So what do we do with that money?

Our desire is to use the remaining $600 to GIVE BACK.  The funds were donated by you, so they should be used to GIVE BACK.  One of our first goals for 2010 is to redo the Chain Reaction bathrooms as a gift to the owners who let us meet there for FREE.  Therefore, we would like to direct the funds towards the renovation of Chain Reaction's bathrooms.

Join us now as we begin the process of GIVING BACK to Anaheim, starting right here at Chain Reaction.

I am overwhelmed by God's goodness.  Praise God!  HE did this.  He can supply our every need as a church, and He WILL supply every need you have as well.

In Christ,

Kyle Steven Bonenberger

I'm so touched by Crossline Community Church's generous gift? Let them be an example to us all to listen to God's call when we hear of a need and to act upon the call in any way that we can. God knows what we need and He always provides us with all that we need.

Thanks for the comment Kim. I couldn't agree more. God is absolutely amazing. He doesn't always come through when we want Him to, but He always does. I heard Rick Warren say something today that absolutely stuck with me. He said this:

"When God is late in your life, get ready for a miracle."

It has been true so many times in my life, and this one was just another example.
